Tage 7-14 - Guilin - Yangshuo - Longsheng / Days 7-14 - Guilin - Yangshuo - Longsheng

Um die Zeit in meinem Blog etwas aufzuholen, fasse ich ein paar Tage zusammen. Ich kann mich sowieso nicht mehr an alle Einzelheiten erinnern und jedes Detail muss auch nicht erzaehlt werden.
Am 1. Oktober wollten wir uns am Nachmittag treffen und nach Yangshuo fahren und dort ein paar Tage bleiben. Der Ort ist kleiner, liegt inmitten einer idyllischen Landschaft und ist ziemlich touristisch.
Ich hatte ein nettes Hotel mit einem Balkon und Blick auf den Fluss und die Berge. Xuanzi wohnte bei Verwandten.
Wir trafen uns natuerlich jeden Tag und spazierten, fuhren Fahrrad, fuhren auf einem Bambusfloss und auf einem Boot auf dem Fluss und fuhren sogar Ballon.
Was noch so passierte:
Noch am Morgen in Guilin setzte ich mir eine kaputte Kontaktlinse ein. Was fuer ein Schmerz. Erstmal konnte ich nur eine halbe wieder rausholen. Ich machte mir schon Gedanken wie es wird, einen Chinesischen Augenarzt zu erklaeren, was passiert ist. Dann konnte ich die zweite Haelfte herausholen. Keine Ahnung, wie das passieren konnte. Die Linse musste schon kaputt in der Packung gewesen sein.
Einmal in Yangshuo bekam ich mein Geld am Geldautomaten, aber die Karte kam nicht mehr heraus. Dann war der Automat mit einer Fehlermeldung ausser Betrieb. Ich blieb am Automaten, fuer den Fall dass er manipuliert war, und Xuanzi ging erst in die Bank und dann noch zu einem Polizisten, der dann einen Techniker anrief. Nach ueber einer halben Stunde hatte ich meine Karte wieder. :-)
Am 6. Oktober fuhren wir dann mit dem Bus nach Longsheng. Dort gibt es viele Reisterrassen zu sehen. Durchaus ein schoener Anblick. Man kann sich den Berg zu den Hotels hoch in einer Saenfte tragen lassen, aber wir sind gelaufen.
Am 8. Oktober flog ich dann allein weiter nach Guangzhou. Natuerlich war es kein leichter Abschied. Aber vielleicht komme ich ja bald wieder? ;-)

To catch up the time a bit in my blog, I summarise a few days. I cannot remember anyhow all details any more and also not every detail has to be told.
On the 1st of October we wanted to meet in the afternoon and go to Yangshuo and remain there a few days. The place is smaller, lies in the midst of an idyllic scenery and is quite touristic.
I had a nice hotel with a balcony and look at the river and the hills. Xuanzi lived with relatives.
We met of course every day and walked, cycled, went on a bamboo raft and on a boat on the river and even went ballooning.
What still happened so:
Still in the morning in Guilin I exerted myself a broken contact lens. What a pain. First I could get out only one half of it. I already thought to myself how it will be to explain what has happened to a Chinese eye specialist. Then I could get out the second half. No notion, how this could happen. The lens had to have been broken already in the package.
Once in Yangshuo I got my money from the ATM, but the creditcard did not come out from it. Then the machine was out of order showing an error message. I remained at the machine, for the case that it was manipulated, and Xuanzi went to the bank and then to a policeman who then called a technician. After about half an hour I had my creditcard back again. :-)
Then on the 6th of October we went by bus to Longsheng. There are many rice terraces to see. Absolutely a nice view. One can have oneself be carried uphills to the hotels in a palanquin, but we walked.
Then on the 8th of October I flew alone further to Guangzhou. Of course it was no light farewell. But maybe I may soon return? ;-)
